Hastin is useful because it fills a price-and-location gap that broad “international school” lists often miss. The official history says the organisation began as a kindergarten in 2009, moved to its current five-rai campus in 2016, added an English Programme in 2022 and received authority to operate as an international school in 2025. OPEC’s campus record, code 1120700016, independently anchors the registered school. The current public offer is narrower than a conventional through-school: Pre-Nursery through Year 9, with no published IGCSE, A-Level, IB Diploma or Grades 10–12 pathway.

The present product is Oxford International Curriculum through Year 9

The school names Oxford International Curriculum, British EYFS and Key Stages 1–3. That establishes the taught framework it markets today; it does not establish a Cambridge examination-centre status or an external qualification at age 16. Oxford-branded curriculum materials and an internationally portable leaving credential are not the same thing. A family with a young child may value the curriculum and lower price without needing a graduation route yet, but a Year 7 family should ask what happens after Year 9 before treating continuity as solved.

The 2026 tuition range is unusually compact

Annual tuition is ฿169,500 for Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception; ฿198,900 for Years 1–6; and ฿229,500 for Years 7–9. Each annual figure is payable in three equal terms. The range therefore reflects the full set of grades the school currently publishes, not a partial table ending before the most expensive year. It is low for an English-medium international record in Banglamung, but tuition alone is not the family total.

Meals and small annual charges change the comparison

Early Years meals are compulsory at ฿5,000 per term, adding ฿15,000 across three terms. Meals are optional at ฿6,000 per term in Years 1–6 and ฿6,500 in Years 7–9. The school separately publishes ฿1,000 per year for its property-protection programme and ฿1,000 for accident insurance. A continuing Early Years pupil therefore has at least ฿186,500 in published recurring charges. A Year 7 pupil who takes meals reaches ฿251,000 before uniform, bus, trips or examinations.

First-year cash is more than the range suggests

The non-refundable application fee is ฿3,000 and non-refundable enrolment fee is ฿30,000. Add those to tuition and the two annual ฿1,000 programmes: a new Year 1 pupil starts at ฿233,900 before optional meals or any unpublished extra; with school meals, the known total is ฿251,900. The school does not publish bus, uniform, trip or external-exam tariffs. Those unknowns should appear as unknowns in the family budget, not as zero.

The school’s history helps explain the offer

The staged growth from kindergarten to English Programme and then international-school registration suggests a small institution building upward rather than a finished through-school launched all at once. That can mean a close community and leadership attention, but it also concentrates pathway risk in the later years. Ask how many pupils are enrolled in each current secondary year, which grades will open next, what staffing is already contracted and whether future qualification plans have regulator or examination-board approval.

The location works best for eastern Pattaya

Pornprapanimit Road in Pong makes Hastin most legible for families around Mabprachan, Siam Country Club, Nong Prue and the eastern side of Banglamung. A modest tuition difference can disappear in transport time if the family lives in central Jomtien, Sattahip or Si Racha. The school does not publish a bus tariff, so ask for the exact home quote, pickup window, adult supervision and activity-bus arrangement. Test the route in both directions during term-time traffic.

Registration is not an accreditation badge

This guide records the OPEC school entry because it verifies that Hastin is a registered international school. It does not convert the school into a CIS-, WASC-, NEASC-, IB- or Cambridge-accredited campus, and no such claim is inherited here. If admissions names an external body, check the body’s own current directory and the exact campus before relying on it. The distinction matters most when a family needs portable transcripts or a recognised leaving qualification.

The strongest fit is a younger child with a planned transition

Hastin is most coherent for a family near Mabprachan seeking a smaller English-medium environment at a published annual price below many established international competitors, especially in Early Years or Primary. It is less straightforward for a child approaching Year 9 because the next credential-bearing phase is not public. A sensible enrolment plan names both the reason to choose Hastin now and the trigger for reviewing the next school—grade reached, qualification announced, or a specified date.

Questions that should be answered before paying

Ask for the exact weekly language timetable, class size and teacher allocation for the target grade; confirmation of what “Oxford International Curriculum” means in assessment and reporting; the current highest enrolled year; the approved plan after Year 9; every unpublished bus, uniform, trip and examination cost; and the withdrawal and refund terms. For visa support, note the school’s published ฿3,000 processing charge each time and requirement that annual tuition be paid in full.

How to read a source-verified record

This page reports what the identified campus and public authorities disclose on the verification date. It does not turn school marketing into an independent judgement or promise that a place, teacher, price or future phase will remain unchanged. Primary-source status answers “who published this?”; it does not answer every quality question. The source list lets a family inspect the evidence, while the gaps identify what must be supplied in a written offer or admissions meeting.

Keep fee structure attached to every number

A fee is meaningful only with its academic year, grade, billed period and inclusion set. Per-term, per-semester and annual figures should never be mixed casually, and a refundable deposit should not be treated like a non-refundable fee even though both require cash before entry. Where this page annualises a number, the school has published the number of billed periods. Where the school gives no price, the field stays unknown rather than being inferred from a neighbouring grade, an older year or a related campus.

Do not let a school category decide the fit

“International,” “bilingual,” “Christian” and “Thai private” describe important structural differences, but none replaces a target-grade timetable and credential check. A younger child may thrive in a school whose later pathway is still developing; an older child may need a recognised examination route immediately. A family remaining in Thailand can rationally value Thai fluency and national continuity more than an overseas qualification. Another family may need portable transcripts above every other benefit. The same school can therefore be a strong fit and a poor fit for two neighbouring households.

Use current scale and outcomes carefully

Published student counts, campus sizes and histories are recorded only when the school supplies them. They are context, not ratings. Large enrolment can support breadth but may also produce larger classes; a small cohort can bring attention but narrow peer and subject choices. University-destination lists are useful only with dates, cohort sizes and the exact qualification used. Ask for current, campus-specific evidence and avoid inheriting a group achievement from another branch.

Re-verify before money becomes non-refundable

Schools can replace a PDF without changing its address, move a page while leaving an old download indexed, or issue a family-specific schedule that differs from public material. Before paying, save the applicable document and ask admissions to attach it to the offer.
