Belfry International School enters this guide because two separate primary records line up. The Office of the Private Education Commission identifies the Ban Khai campus as registered international school 1121700003, while the school’s own 2026/27 fee document names the year, grades and charges inside the rendered PDF. The result is unusually usable for a family looking east of Rayong city: a real Nursery-to-Year-6 option, a standard annual tuition range of ฿301,000 to ฿395,000, and explicit entry costs. It is not a through-school, and that boundary belongs at the centre of the decision rather than in small print.

The curriculum is British primary, with a Montessori-informed method

The official curriculum material describes the British Early Years Foundation Stage for younger children and English National Curriculum Key Stages 1 and 2 through Year 6. The school also presents Montessori principles as part of its teaching approach. Those statements describe curriculum and pedagogy; they do not establish IB, Cambridge examination-centre status or a secondary leaving qualification. Families should ask for the target-grade timetable, subject-language allocation and examples of assessed work, especially if a child may later transfer into a larger British secondary school.

The 2026/27 standard tuition range is complete through Year 6

The school-published schedule lists ฿301,000 for Nursery and Early Years 1, ฿326,500 for Early Years 2, ฿371,000 for Year 1, ฿383,400 for Year 2 and ฿395,000 for Years 3 through 6. These are annual standard totals, not single-term prices. The top of the range therefore reaches the highest grade currently advertised. That matters because a low early-years headline can otherwise disguise the real continuing cost for an older primary child.

Annual payment changes the comparison

A published 5% annual-payment discount reduces the standard totals to ฿285,950 at the bottom and ฿375,250 at the top. A family comparing Belfry with a term-pay school should choose one payment method and apply it consistently across the shortlist. Paying annually reduces price but also increases cash exposed before the year begins. Ask when the payment becomes non-refundable and whether a late start, withdrawal or prolonged absence changes the discount.

The “4th year Family” table needs a written eligibility answer

The fee PDF contains a separate green table labelled “4th year Family.” It shows another 5% reduction and annual-payment totals of ฿271,653 to ฿356,488. The document does not define the phrase closely enough for this guide to call it a sibling discount, loyalty guarantee or universally available promotion. Ask admissions who qualifies, whether the reduction is applied before or after the annual-payment discount, how long it continues and whether it survives a break in enrolment. Until then, the directory’s headline range remains the standard tariff.

First-year cash is more than tuition

The application fee is ฿4,000 and non-refundable. Registration is ฿80,000 and also non-refundable. The ฿30,000 deposit is described as refundable, subject to the school’s withdrawal conditions. Together those lines require ฿114,000 beyond tuition when a new pupil enters, even though only ฿30,000 may eventually come back. A Nursery family paying standard tuition annually should therefore expect at least ฿415,000 before unpriced services; a Year 3 family at the top standard rate should expect at least ฿509,000.

Tuition covers the regular programme, not every school-day cost

The fee notice says tuition covers the regular school programme. It separately references catering, trips, clubs, events and other optional services without publishing their current prices. The phrase “optional” deserves a practical test: ask which trips or events are embedded in normal class learning, whether lunch can be declined, what clubs provide supervision after the normal day and whether transport remains available afterward. Uniform, books, devices, examinations and learning support should also be marked included, compulsory, optional or not applicable on the written offer.

The refund table is material, not boilerplate

The published policy describes a tuition refund of 50% before the term, 25% within the first 15 days and none after that point. It also asks for one term’s advance notice for deposit recovery. That creates two different clocks: one for tuition and another for the deposit. A relocating family should ask which date counts as notice, whether holidays are included, whether the rule applies to annual and term payments equally, and whether registration is ever transferable. Save the policy attached to the signed offer rather than relying on a later webpage.

Three terms create timing choices

The official 2026/27 calendar shows term starts in August, January and April. The fee document allows term payment and says late entrants can be charged proportionally, but the basis of that proration should be confirmed for the exact start date. The late-payment charge is ฿100 per day. Ask for the instalment due dates, whether a pupil can attend while a bank transfer is processing and how annual-payment savings compare with keeping more cash refundable.

Primary-only can be a strength and a planning constraint

A smaller-age-range school may make its environment and routines deliberately child-centred. It also guarantees a transition after Year 6. Families entering in Year 4 or later should map that transition before enrolment: likely receiving schools, admission tests, curriculum gaps, English and Thai expectations, school reports and reference timing. Ask where recent Year 6 pupils moved, how many were in the cohort and what support the school provides during applications. A destination list without cohort context is not an outcome rate.

Ban Khai is a distinct geography

The campus address is Nong Taphan in Ban Khai district. It may fit families based around Ban Khai, industrial estates or inland Rayong routes better than households in central Pattaya, Si Racha or the coast. Do not treat the province name as a commute estimate. Test the door-to-door journey at arrival and dismissal time, ask whether transport serves the exact home, and obtain a route-specific quote because the published fee PDF does not price buses.

Registration proves identity, not independent accreditation

OPEC’s record supports the campus’s legal identity as a registered international school. It is not represented here as CIS, WASC, NEASC, IB or Cambridge accreditation. The school’s own description of a British curriculum is a curriculum claim, not an accrediting-body listing. If admissions names an external recognition, verify this exact campus in the organisation’s own directory and ask what practical consequence the status has for Year 6 transfer records.

The best-fit family understands both the scope and the cash profile

Belfry is most legible for a family wanting English-medium British primary education in inland Rayong, with a current public tariff and no need for secondary grades on the same campus. It is less convenient for a household requiring boarding, a through-school pathway or a coastal Pattaya commute. The price can be competitive after published discounts, but only if the family can meet the up-front payment and gets every unpriced service in writing.

This page reports what the identified campus and public authorities disclosed on 25 July 2026. It does not convert school marketing into an independent quality judgement or promise that a place, teacher, route or fee will remain unchanged. Primary-source status answers who published a fact; it does not resolve classroom fit. The source list lets a family inspect the evidence, while each gap names what admissions still needs to supply.

Keep fee structure attached to every number

A fee is useful only with its academic year, grade, billed period and inclusion set. The headline here uses standard annual tuition, while discounted numbers retain their conditions. The refundable deposit is shown separately from non-refundable entry costs even though all three require cash before starting. Unpriced catering, trips and services remain unknown rather than zero. That discipline is what keeps a low headline from becoming a misleading family budget.

Re-verify before money becomes non-refundable

A school can replace a PDF at the same address or issue a family-specific schedule that differs from the public version. Before paying, save the applicable 2026/27 document and ask admissions to make it part of the offer. If a later quote changes a figure, inclusion or discount, ask which document controls and why.
