A young child in DMEP may spend more time hearing and using English than a pupil in another track, but parents still need the subject-by-subject language timetable. The published 2569 admissions list includes SMP, CBT for Chinese in business and technology, STP for science and technology, JTP for Japanese in technology and business, ECT for English and communication technology, and DMEP. Those labels describe emphasis rather than a globally standard credential. The practical questions are the weekly hours, entry tests, class size, compulsory projects, language starting level and what happens if a pupil changes track.
