1. Is French a family language — or is English-medium British enough?

This is the decisive fork. BJP runs parallel French national and Cambridge English streams under one roof — genuinely trilingual (French, English, Thai daily). For half-Thai-half-French families wanting both languages in the classroom at the lowest published fees in the directory, BJP is the structural product. 2. Can you justify 2.5–3× the primary fees for Reggio + British NC?

BJP at ฿92K–฿132K/yr is the cheapest verified band in this directory — roughly one-third of ISC's ฿244K–฿349K primary range. Over seven primary years, that gap compounds to roughly ฿1.5M–฿1.7M before transport and one-time fees. ISC charges for Reggio Emilia Early Years differentiation — child-led projects, documentation as a teaching tool, emergent curriculum — genuinely rare in Pattaya. Most British schools run EYFS, not Reggio. If you have experienced Reggio abroad and want that for ages 2–5, the fee premium may be justified. If you want structured bilingual exposure at budget tier and accept a less specialist Early Years, BJP. 3. Transfer at Year 7 (ISC) or stay through age 16 (BJP)?

These schools have different age ceilings and different transfer clocks. ISC is primary-only — every child must re-apply, re-interview, and re-budget at Year 7 (age 11). Smart ISC families visit BPIS, MIS, and TPIS while the child is still in Nursery. BJP serves through age 16 with Cambridge IGCSE prep on the English stream — five extra years before the next mandatory transfer. That buys time for families who want one school through lower secondary without paying international-tier fees from age 2. The trade-off: BJP has no Sixth Form — A-Level or Terminale requires another move at 15–16 anyway.

4. Permsub Garden or Banglamung Soi 39 — which commute wins?

BJP at Permsub Garden near Siam Country Club is inland Bang Lamung — 20–30 minutes from central Pattaya depending on traffic, closer to the golf-resort residential belt than the beach strip. ISC on Banglamung Soi 39 is typically 15–25 minutes from central Pattaya — closer to inland Banglamung residential than Pattaya City centre. Neither sits in Pattaya City proper (unlike Phoenix Wittaya). If you live near Siam Country Club or Huai Yai inland, BJP may be closer. If you live near Banglamung Soi 39 corridor, ISC may win the school run. Test both commutes at school-run times before committing.

5. What is your secondary plan — BPIS budget route or MIS/Regents?

Neither school publishes a sister-secondary pathway. ISC graduates arrive with British NC primary preparation at age 11 — admissions committees at MIS, Regents, or Rugby assess directly via testing and interview. BPIS at ฿126K/yr is the affordable Cambridge secondary many primary-only families target. BJP graduates arrive with Cambridge IGCSE prep (English stream) or French national credentials (French stream) at age 15–16 — closer to Sixth Form entry but without A-Level or bac on campus. BJP → BPIS is a plausible budget British route if the English stream fits. BJP → EFIP is the French bac route if AEFE credentials matter. Plan the destination school before enrolling at either primary — ISC gives you six years to decide; BJP gives you up to thirteen.

Summary verdict

• Choose BJP Elite Academy if: you need the lowest published tuition (฿92K entry band); French + English bilingual matters; your child is 3–16 and you accept no AEFE accreditation and no Sixth Form on campus; Permsub Garden location works; and you will verify year-group fees in writing on tour.
• Choose ISC Pattaya if: you want Reggio Emilia Early Years with English-medium British primary; published year-by-year fee transparency at ฿244K–฿349K matters for employer budgeting; English is your target classroom language; you have already shortlisted a Year 7 secondary; and you accept mandatory transfer at age 11 with no campus continuity.
