Before you decide

Where the routes differ

1. Do you want IB Diploma on British IGCSE — or on American AERO/NGSS?

Garden publishes British EYFS through IGCSE and an IB Diploma route in the checked Rayong material; its separate A-Level page is branch-ambiguous. ISE publishes AERO and NGSS standards, an American high-school diploma route and IB Diploma authorisation. ISE describes MAP testing and later PSAT/SAT use, but families should confirm the current assessment schedule, courses and graduation requirements for the intended cohort. Ask each school how its route fits the child's proposed year and university plans.

2. CIS + FOBISIA or WASC + cohort evidence?

Garden publishes full CIS accreditation, FOBISIA membership and a 100% IB Diploma pass rate for its 2023 cohort; those results do not predict an individual child’s outcome. ISE publishes WASC accreditation since 1999 and a student-to-teacher ratio below 8:1; current enrolment is not published. Ask each school for current cohort sizes, available activities and the most recent results for the relevant qualification.

3. Rayong commute or Sriracha commute — where does your family live?

Garden is in Ban Chang, Rayong; ISE is inside Burapha Golf Club in Bowin, Sriracha. Neither is a Pattaya-side school, and a single minute estimate would hide large differences between home addresses, pickup routes and school traffic. Test both journeys at school-run times before enrolling. If you live in Rayong or Ban Chang, Garden is usually the structural fit; if you are based in Sriracha, Laem Chabang or the Bowin industrial corridor, ISE is usually the structural fit.

4. Can you budget Garden exact fees vs ISE tuition-only structure?

Both schools publish verifiable year-by-year numbers — this pairing allows a symmetric fee comparison at peer stages, with one caveat on billing structure. Garden: ฿147K (Nursery half-day) → ฿419K (Y1–2) → ฿447K (Y3–6) → ฿500K (Y10) → ฿609.8K (Y12–13). ISE: ฿358K (Pre-K) → ฿514K (K–G5) → ฿601K (G6–8) → ฿617K (G9–10) → ฿646K (G11–12 IBDP tuition only). These examples use different age bands and inclusions, so request quotes for the child’s precise year before drawing a cost conclusion. Garden's IBDP fee is ฿609,800 annually, billed as ฿304,900 × 2 terms; ISE G11–12 is ฿646,000/year tuition only. Add ISE lunch, bus, and exam fees before comparing all-in. Budget the full 2–18 journey with admissions on both sides.

5. British language breadth + published IBDP results — or American diploma optionality at G11?

Garden publishes additional-language provision and IBDP results; ask for the latest cohort context. ISE describes MAP testing and later PSAT, SAT and TOEFL use as applicable, alongside American high-school diploma and IBDP routes. Ask which assessments and qualification choices apply to this child, and compare the schools' current subject lists and entry requirements. Garden's separate A-Level page remains branch-ambiguous in the checked record.

Turn the shortlist into two comparable offers

Give both admissions teams the same child profile: current year group, reports, home languages, intended entry date, any English-language or learning support, transport address and likely university system. Ask each school to reply with the proposed class, curriculum route, support assessment, standard tuition, mandatory first-year charges, recurring extras, transport quote and payment deadlines. Garden and ISE now both publish 2026/27 tuition, but a written offer should identify the exact child’s year group and state all compulsory extras and payment terms.

For an older pupil, request the exact qualification plan as well as the price. Garden should confirm the IGCSE subjects available to the relevant cohort and the route into its IB Diploma. ISE should confirm the American-diploma and IB Diploma choices, prerequisites, counselling timeline and any examination charges outside tuition. Ask both schools how a pupil joining mid-pathway is assessed and which subjects may be unavailable because of prior study or timetable blocks.

Finally, run both journeys at the actual drop-off time and visit the year group the child would enter. Compare classroom language, teacher feedback, peer interaction and the way support appears during an ordinary lesson. The defensible choice is not “British” or “American” in isolation; it is the school whose daily route, child-specific placement, complete invoice and later qualification plan remain workable together.

Common questions
Do both Garden and ISE offer IB Diploma?

Yes. Garden runs British EYFS through IGCSE to IB Diploma. ISE runs American AERO + NGSS through IB Diploma (American diploma also available at G11–12). Garden offers boarding from Year 5; ISE is a day school.

Which is cheaper — Garden or ISE?

Garden is lower at most overlapping peer stages: Year 1 ฿418,500 vs ISE K–G5 tuition ฿514,200; Year 6 band ฿447,300 vs ISE G6–8 ฿600,500; Year 10 ฿500,100 vs ISE G9–10 ฿617,000. ISE early years (Pre-K ฿357,600) exceed Garden half-day Nursery (฿147,000). Garden Y12–13 IBDP is ฿609,800 annually (฿304,900 × 2 terms) — not directly comparable to ISE G11–12 ฿646,000/yr tuition only.

Which offers an American curriculum?

ISE only. Garden runs British EYFS through IGCSE to IB Diploma — no American AERO/NGSS track. ISE publishes an American-through-IB Diploma pathway; confirm current course options for the intended cohort.

Which has CIS accreditation?

Garden holds full CIS accreditation alongside current FOBISIA membership; the federation says it joined in 2002 or earlier. Garden also publishes IBDP examination results. ISE holds WASC accreditation (since 1999) and IBO authorisation — not CIS in our verified record.

Garden or ISE for a Sriracha family?

If you live in Sriracha, Bowin or Laem Chabang, ISE is usually the structural commute fit inside Burapha Golf Club. Garden in Ban Chang generally suits families south of Pattaya or already in the Rayong corridor. Test both routes from the real home at school-run times before enrolling.
