Five schools in this guide publish boarding: Rugby, Regents, Garden Rayong, REPS and Assumption College Sriracha. Their curricula, entry ages and boarding patterns differ. Check tuition separately from the boarding charge, and distinguish weekly from full boarding. Highgate’s future boarding plans are separate from the schools offering boarding now.
Rugby and Regents are the two boarding schools on Pattaya’s own doorstep, in Bang Lamung. Garden and REPS are in Ban Chang, Rayong, south-east of Pattaya, and Assumption College Sriracha is to the north. The cheapest boarding place is not the cheapest school year: a Thai-curriculum English Programme at REPS and a British A Level or IB route at Rugby, Regents or Garden lead to different qualifications. Pick the route first, then compare tuition plus boarding for your child’s year.
Yes. Rugby School Thailand and Regents International School Pattaya, both in Bang Lamung on the edge of Pattaya, take boarders: Rugby from Year 6 and Regents from Year 3. Garden International School and REPS in Ban Chang, Rayong, and Assumption College Sriracha also publish boarding.
REPS publishes the lowest boarding fee in this set: ฿160,000 a year for weekly or ฿170,000 for full boarding in 2026/27, on top of tuition. It teaches the Thai national curriculum through an English Programme, so it is not a like-for-like alternative to the British schools.
Rugby School Thailand (from Year 6), Regents International School Pattaya (from Year 3), Garden International School Rayong (from Year 5), Royal English Programme School in Ban Chang and Thai-curriculum Assumption College Sriracha publish boarding. Rugby, Regents, Garden and REPS boarding fees were rechecked on 7 October 2026. Highgate’s Admissions page said on 7 October 2026 that boarding will open for Senior School students in 2028/29, so it is not yet an option. Assumption publishes combined Term 1/2569 day and boarding totals for selected returning cohorts, not a separately itemised or full-year boarding tariff.
Regents’ published 2026/27 boarding term instalments total ฿447,000/yr from Year 3, plus a ฿30K refundable retainer. The former 5% price was ฿424,650 only for payment before 31 July 2026; that deadline has passed.
Rugby Thailand operates as a day + boarding school on an 80-acre campus. Boarding is available from Year 6. Published 2026/27 annual boarding is ฿285,100 part, ฿417,700 weekly or ฿493,800 full, plus a ฿20K deposit.
