Rugby School Thailand
The most architecturally ambitious campus. A-Levels only. Boarding from age 10. ฿200K acceptance fee. Sister of England's Rugby School.
The headline premium-British decision in Pattaya. Both schools sit at the ฿800K+/year top of the market. Both offer British curriculum + boarding. The structural differences are what most parents miss on a first tour.

Both schools publish exact year-by-year tuition. Rugby Y1 first-year all-in ≈ ฿973,500 (tuition + ฿200K acceptance + application) — highest acceptance fee in the directory. Regents Y1 first-year all-in ≈ ฿718,700 (tuition + ฿107K enrolment + application). At Sixth Form Rugby is ~฿146K/yr more (฿975K vs ฿829K) — over six secondary years that gap exceeds ฿1M before bus, lunch, and boarding. Regents offers IB Diploma or A-Level on the same flat Y10–13 fee; Rugby is A-Level only. Regents boards from Year 3; Rugby from age 10. Add bus to both — Rugby publishes ฿18K–32K/term by zone; Regents zone fees not on public tuition page.
If yes — Regents. It's the only one of the two offering both A-Level AND IBDP at age 16. Students choose pathway after IGCSE. If no — either school works, with Rugby being slightly more "pure A-Level traditional British" in atmosphere.
If yes — Regents. Boarding from Year 3 (age 7-8). Rugby's boarding starts at age 10 (Year 7+). For younger boarders, only Regents works structurally.
If yes — Rugby. 80-acre campus, four pools including a 50m Olympic-size pool in the Webb Ellis Centre, FIBA-standard courts, 55,000m² of pitch space. The school is built around the "whole person" sport-arts-academics integration. Regents has good facilities but isn't built at Rugby's scale.
If yes — depends which network. Rugby Thailand is the first international member of the Rugby School Group (Warwickshire). Regents is part of Nord Anglia Education — 80+ schools globally, including the famous British School of Beijing and many others. If you're likely to relocate within Asia or globally, Nord Anglia's network is denser.
Rugby's headline tuition is ~฿146,000/yr higher at Sixth Form (฿975K vs ฿829K). Plus Rugby's ฿200,000 acceptance fee is non-refundable (vs Regents' ฿107,000 enrolment for Y1+). Real all-in difference over a 6-year secondary education: ~฿1M+ in Rugby's favour-of-cost. For families where that swings the decision, Regents at Sixth Form is the structural fit.
Neither is categorically better — they serve different families. Rugby fits facility-heavy British public-school culture, A-Levels at Sixth Form, and boarding from age 10. Regents fits IB Diploma optionality, Nord Anglia network, and boarding from Year 3.
Rugby Y12–13 A-Level: ฿975,000/yr. Regents Y10–13: ฿829,350/yr — Rugby is ~฿146,000/yr more at the top. Rugby's ฿200,000 acceptance fee is the highest in the directory; Regents enrolment is ฿107,000 for Y1–13.
Regents boards from Year 3 (age 7–8). Rugby boards from age 10 (Year 7+). Younger boarders need Regents structurally.
Regents only — IB Diploma or A-Level at Sixth Form on the same fee. Rugby is A-Level only at Sixth Form.
Rugby — 80 acres, four pools including 50m Olympic, Webb Ellis Centre, 55,000m² pitch space. Regents has strong facilities but is not built at Rugby's scale.
