Thai English Programme schools near Pattaya

In brief

Seven schools in this guide teach the Thai national curriculum with an English, mini-English or bilingual programme. They are usually far cheaper than British or IB schools, they follow the Thai school year (May to March at most of them) and they lead to Thai qualifications rather than IGCSE or IB. Only fees the school publishes for 2026/27 are shown; fees without a stated year are held.

FAQ

Quick answers

What is a Thai English Programme (EP) school?

A Thai school that teaches the national Thai curriculum with most subjects, or a set of core subjects, taught in English. Pupils sit Thai exams and earn a Thai school certificate. Mini English Programme (MEP) streams teach fewer subjects in English. Ask each school how many hours a week are taught in English and by whom.

Are Thai EP schools cheaper than international schools?

Usually yes. REPS, the one Thai EP school here with a dated 2026/27 fee list, charges ฿84,800 to ฿153,800 a year in tuition, while the British and IB schools charge several hundred thousand baht. BEST, Phoenix and Sirasartsuksa publish lower fees but state no academic year, so they are held out of the 2026/27 table; their profiles show them. Ask each school for a dated fee list.

When does the school year start at Thai EP schools?

Most follow the Thai calendar, with the first semester starting in May and the year ending in March. REPS publishes four quarters from 11 May 2026 to 12 March 2027. Check each school’s own calendar before planning a move.
