Both schools publish routes through age 18. SISB combines three languages and Singapore stages with Cambridge qualifications; St Andrew's combines British and IB PYP stages with IGCSE and the IB Diploma.

Match the actual attendance offer

Ask both schools to state the child’s proposed class, start date, age cut-off, core hours and following year. SISB publishes Nursery, Kindergarten, Primary and Grades 7–12 fee rows; St Andrew's publishes Nursery through Year 13, with half-day and full-day choices in early years. Similar ages do not ensure identical placement.

SISB’s new-applicant range stops at Grade 10 despite senior fees. St Andrew's publishes a complete day-school route, but parents should still confirm the offered class, present cohort and next-year progression. Put every placement answer into the written offer.

Make language exposure visible

SISB records English, Thai and Mandarin. Ask for the weekly allocation, subject language, newcomer support and transition from Singapore Primary into Cambridge stages.

St Andrew's records English, Thai, Mandarin and a Dutch language-and-culture programme from Reception through secondary. Ask which Dutch hours and CNaVT or IBDP Dutch route apply to the child, and how IB PYP work transitions into IGCSE and the Diploma.

At both visits, request anonymised work and the report format. Observe how teachers explain unfamiliar tasks, differentiate work and support pupils new to English. Curriculum labels matter only when daily implementation is visible.

Build complete first-year totals

SISB’s 2026/27 tuition runs from ฿401,700 to ฿789,300. Application and assessment are ฿5,000 each, enrolment ฿220,000 and deposit ฿50,000. Resources are ฿30,500–฿84,000, meals ฿26,400–฿39,000 and ELS ฿20,000–฿30,000 per term.

St Andrew's 2026/27 tuition runs from ฿213,000 to ฿867,500. Application is ฿5,000, entrance is ฿55,000 in early years or ฿100,000 from Year 1, and the alternative capital levy is ฿20,000 per term for six terms. The refundable deposit is ฿100,000.

St Andrew's prices EAL at ฿100,000 yearly and LEAP at ฿175,000. Assessed LSA support is ฿186,067 yearly when shared 50% or ฿372,134 full-time. Two-way bus is ฿57,000–฿89,500 and meals are about ฿4,400–฿16,300 yearly; Year 11 and 13 exams are billed separately.

Create totals for cash before attendance, the complete first year and a normal recurring year. Mark refundable deposits, one-time charges and support triggered by assessment. Use the child’s exact grade and attendance pattern rather than the lowest published band.

Plan both transfer points

SISB publishes Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A-Level after its Singapore stages. Confirm which senior grades currently operate, accept newcomers and offer each subject.

St Andrew's has direct IB registry evidence for its Primary Years and Diploma Programmes. Ask for current IGCSE and Diploma subjects, cohort sizes, completion routes and university counselling rather than assuming every option runs regardless of demand.

Rehearse relocation after two years. Request the transcript, curriculum map, language evidence and teacher references each school would supply, then ask a likely receiving school how placement would be decided.

Audit support without assumptions

SISB publishes ELS at ฿20,000–฿30,000 per term. St Andrew's separately publishes EAL, LEAP and assessed LSA support; the stated annual bands range from ฿100,000 to ฿372,134 depending on provision. Ask what triggers each service, how often it runs and which lessons pupils miss.

If support matters, request the staff member, group size, minutes per week, review date, progress measure, exit criteria and price. Separate English acquisition from learning, developmental and wellbeing needs.

Bring existing reports before assessment and ask admissions to state any limitations in writing. Compare the actual plan for this child, not the existence of a fee row.

Test the senior pathway with present evidence

SISB’s published sequence reaches Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A-Level, but the Rayong campus opened in 2023 and its 2026/27 new-applicant range stops at Grade 10. Ask which secondary grades are operating now, how many pupils are in each cohort, which IGCSE subjects are taught and when the first Rayong AS/A-Level cohort is expected. A fee row through Grade 12 is useful for budgeting but is not the same evidence as a current class.

St Andrew's has direct IB registry evidence for its Diploma Programme. Ask which Standard Level and Higher Level subjects run this year, what minimum enrolment each option needs, how timetable conflicts are handled and what pathway exists for a pupil who does not pursue the full Diploma.

For either school, request recent campus-level examples rather than group or brand claims: anonymised subject-choice forms, a sample transcript, the current examination calendar and the university-counselling timeline. Record what is guaranteed, what depends on cohort demand and what may require an online course or transfer.

Compare accreditation and curriculum claims carefully

St Andrew's has direct IB registry evidence for PYP and the Diploma Programme. Its Education Development Trust Silver and ONESQA statements are school-published claims. SISB’s current ledger record does not list a campus-level accreditation, so parents should ask which examination-centre or programme approvals apply specifically to Rayong.

Accreditation still does not make the classroom choice automatically. Compare the proposed teacher, class size, language load, homework pattern, assessment style and reporting cadence. A pupil moving from another Singapore system may find SISB’s sequence more familiar; a pupil coming from a British or IB school may map more directly into St Andrew's.

Model discounts without inventing them

SISB publishes a 2% full-year tuition discount, sibling tuition discounts of 5% for the second child and 10% for later children, and a 20% enrolment reduction from the second child. The current St Andrew's ledger does not record a comparable standard sibling or annual-payment concession.

Ask St Andrew's to state every current concession in writing and whether it affects entrance or capital-levy choices. Record standard tuition, discounted cash paid and refund exposure as separate figures.

Test the real family week

SISB is in Nong Taphan, Ban Khai; St Andrew's is in Banchang, Rayong. Drive both routes at arrival and collection times, including work and sibling stops. Record normal and rainy-day travel.

SISB excludes transport without a published tariff. St Andrew's publishes one-way and two-way bus bands. Ask for pickup windows, vehicle time, supervision and the exact address price. Both are day schools in the current ledger.

1. Placement: exact class, attendance pattern and next class.
2. Learning: language allocation, programme map, work and reports.
3. Cost: acceptance cash, first year and recurring year.
4. Support: provision, staffing, review and price.
5. Transition: SISB’s Singapore-to-Cambridge sequence or St Andrew's British-to-IB route.

Save offers, fee schedules, calendars and placement answers together. Keep every missing charge or grade commitment open until admissions confirms it in writing.
