1. Does your child need IB Diploma optionality at Sixth Form?

If yes — Regents, full stop. It is the only school in this pairing — and one of only three premium British schools in the directory — offering both IB Diploma and A-Level on the same campus at age 16. 2. Do you need boarding on the Pattaya side of Chonburi?

3. Where in Banglamung are you actually living?

If Nongprue, Huai Yai, or inland Banglamung near Mabprachan Lake — MIS wins on commute. MIS sits on Chaiyaponvithi 25 in Nongprue; Regents is in Pong, typically 15–25 minutes away depending on traffic. Same district as TPIS and BPIS. If you are coastal (Jomtien, Pratumnak), both require a bus — but Regents's Nord Anglia bus network is more established for Pong routes. Do not choose MIS for "Pattaya beach proximity" — neither school is walkable from the coast.

4. Which year band are you modelling fees for?

This comparison saves the most at middle school and Sixth Form. At Year 7, MIS all-in saves ~฿263,350/yr versus Regents tuition alone (฿442,500 vs ฿705,850). If you have a 2-, 3-, or 4-year-old and want genuine Montessori-on-EYFS before British primary at Year 1, MIS is the only school in this directory. Regents runs standard EYFS with IPC through Nord Anglia — no Montessori programme.
